Devs Say V Rising Offline Play This Week

Vampire survival game V Rising has been a smash hit on Steam since entering Early Access this week. Some players have found the requirement to connect to the internet as difficult as a garlic necklace. Fortunately, developer Stunlock Studios has said it'll be introducing the ability to play offline promptly and possibly by the end of the week.

"Many players have been requesting information about offline play and the possibility of being able to play on a private server without any connection to the internet," developers stated in a message to V Rising Discord. "Right now, the game doesn't allow for this, but it is our goal to make sure it does."

Stunlock says offline play is currently prioritised and the studio believes that it will be available "some time within the next couple of days, although it could be sooner." The studio also expressed its regrets to players who have had difficulties due to unstable internet connections or other barriers to getting into V Rising and testing out their new fangs.
